




*Major heavy cargo transportation company is seeking:* **Safety and Environmental Manager (Hydrocarbons Sector)** **Academic background:** Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. **Required experience:** * Minimum of 3 to 5 years in similar positions within the transportation, logistics, and **hydrocarbons** sectors. * Proven experience in regulatory compliance audits, permit management with ASEA or SEMARNAT, and hazardous waste control. **Position objective:** Ensure **compliance with current regulations** regarding industrial safety, environmental protection, and handling of **hydrocarbons**, applicable to storage and transportation operations by means other than pipelines. **Main functions and responsibilities:** * Implementation of **SASISOPA** industrial and commercial systems. Supervise and ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal legislation regarding **Safety, Health, and Environment (SSMA)**, as well as standards applicable to the **hydrocarbons sector (ASEA, SEMARNAT, STPS, SENER, SICT, CNE).** * Manage **permits, licenses, and environmental and safety registrations** with competent authorities. * Develop, update, and monitor industrial safety programs, environmental protection programs, and hazardous and non-hazardous waste management programs. * Coordinate risk assessments, environmental impact studies, contingency plans, drills, and internal and external audits. * Ensure compliance with Mexican Official Standards **(NOM\-STPS, NOM\-SEMARNAT, NOM\-ASEA, NOM\-SCT)** applicable to the transportation and handling of hydrocarbons. * Monitor environmental and safety performance through **indicators, reports, and compliance logs.** Job type: Full-time Salary: $25,000\.00 \- $31,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Savings fund * Company parking * Life insurance * Discounted cafeteria service * Grocery vouchers Work location: On-site
