This position is part of the new internal technical design team at Kyungshin Cable México, created to strengthen product understanding from its origin. The CATIA design team aims to connect manufacturing engineering with the structural design of automotive electrical harnesses, enabling visualization of their integration within the vehicle, optimizing assembly, and ensuring consistency between digital design and physical installation. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and update 3D models of automotive electrical harnesses using **CATIA** **V5/V6** (essential), ensuring dimensional accuracy and compatibility with vehicle spaces. * Analyze and validate routing, fixation points, mechanical protection, and electrical separation according to OEM design specifications. * Interpret drawings, component lists (BOM), and electrical diagrams to translate them into functional digital models. * Collaborate closely with process, manufacturing, and quality departments to ensure designs are production-feasible and meet on-site installation standards. * Participate in technical reviews with global teams to adjust designs based on engineering feedback, early-stage development, and OEM design changes. * Support the creation of layouts, routing diagrams, and interference studies for new programs or engineering changes. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES: * Completed degree in Engineering (Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Industrial, Automotive Design, or related field). * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in automotive electrical harness or electromechanical component design. * Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 electrical modules (Electrical Harness Installation). * Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, technical specifications, and assembly tolerances.
