Our entire infrastructure runs on **Google Cloud and Firebase**. We’re looking for someone to take ownership of this architecture—to stabilize it, eliminate bugs, and scale our automations. **The Challenge:** Currently, we operate using direct cloud and AI integrations. We need to professionalize. Your mission is not just to "write code", but to orchestrate our Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Functions) and robustly connect them with our AI models—reducing our current failure rate. **What you’ll do:** * **Architecture Cleanup:** Review and optimize existing **Cloud Functions** in Firebase (Node.js or Python) to prevent failures. * **AI Management:** Maintain and improve connections with AI APIs on Google Cloud. * **Security:** Secure **Firestore** database rules (currently likely overly permissive or error-prone). * **Stabilization:** Diagnose why apps disconnect or fail, and fix backend logic. **Essential Requirements (Tech Stack):** * **Firebase Master:** Deep expertise in **Firestore** (NoSQL), **Cloud Functions** (business logic), and **Authentication**. * **Google Cloud Platform (GCP):** Experience navigating the GCP console. * **Languages:** Proficiency in **Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript)** or **Python** (the languages powering Firebase and AI). * **API Integration:** Experience connecting external services (Stripe, WhatsApp, AI) via Webhooks. **Technical Requirements (Essential):** * **Next.js Expert:** Mastery of the **App Router** (Server Components vs Client Components). You know how to avoid "Prop Drilling" and manage global state. * **TypeScript:** You confidently type props, API responses, and components. * **Modern UI/UX:** Proven experience using **Tailwind CSS** and headless component libraries such as **Radix UI** or **shadcn/ui**. * **Forms:** Mastery of **React Hook Form** + **Zod**. **Ideal Profile:** * You’ve previously worked on "serverless" projects (where there’s no traditional server, only cloud functions). * You’re comfortable debugging and refactoring generated or pre-existing code.
