Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the preparation, recording, review, and classification of accounting transactions, as well as the preparation of financial reports. Willingness to learn and grow in the accounting field Position: Accounting Assistant Location: On-site, Durango, Dgo., Mexico Department: Accounting **Responsibilities**: * Support in preparing and recording daily accounting transactions * Review and classification of accounting documents (invoices, receipts, income and expense reports) * Entry of financial information into accounting systems * Preparation of bank reconciliations and basic accounting reports * Support in preparing financial reports * Handling of electronic correspondence related to accounting tasks, including drafting formal emails and official letters * Organization and filing of accounting documents * Other administrative support related to the accounting department **Requirements**: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting (graduated or intern) * English B2 level (preferred but not mandatory; ability to read and write documents in English is a plus) * Prior experience as an accounting assistant in accounting firms or similar roles * Intermediate proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, filters, etc.) * Proficiency in Office suite in general (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Knowledge of administrative and office tasks: filing, drafting emails, preparing official letters, and client interaction * Proactive, responsible attitude and ability to work in a team * Willingness to learn and grow in the accounting field **We Offer**: Opportunity for professional development within a dynamic team.
