Responsibilities: * Manage month\-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site * Oversee preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of specific accounts * Supervising finance department activities while providing effective coaching and support to accomplish goals * Prepare monthly reports of results, monthly forecasts, annual business plan. * Review labor reporting and cost, material costs, manufacturing overhead and cost of non\-quality. * Ensuring full compliance and improvement to site internal controls * Coordinate and schedule plant physical inventories * Proactively identifying business or accounting risks and implementing countermeasures where appropriate * Analyzing and interpreting plant performance, evaluating variances and assessing the effects on plant results * Identify, lead and/or support cost reduction initiatives working cross functionally with other areas to drive cost reductions. * Review and approve spending in accordance with company policies. **GENERAL ACCOUNTANT FOR POULTRY FARM** **Academic Requirements** \- Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting (degree required). \- Fiscal or accounting certifications (Desirable) **General Information** \- Position: General Accountant \- Department: Administration and Finance \- Immediate Supervisor: Manager of Administration and Finance \- Subordinates: Accounting assistants **Job Objective** Ensure proper control, recording, and analysis of the company’s financial and accounting operations, complying with tax, labor, and administrative obligations, as well as providing reliable and timely information for strategic decision-making. **Main Responsibilities** · Supervise and record all accounting transactions of the company (income, expenses, assets, and liabilities). · Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. · Ensure compliance with tax obligations (Income Tax, VAT, withholdings, annual and informative declarations, etc.). · Coordinate the preparation and submission of reports to tax authorities and internal or external audits. · Control general and subsidiary accounting, ensuring correct account classification. · Supervise bank reconciliations, cash flow, and accounts receivable/payable. · Implement accounting and financial policies and procedures to optimize resources. · Assist in the company’s financial planning and budgeting. · Coordinate and supervise accounting and administrative staff. · Ensure proper custody of tax, legal, and accounting documents. **Key Responsibilities KPIs** · Timely delivery of financial statements (by the 5th of each month). · 100% compliance with tax obligations on time. · Accuracy in bank reconciliations (monthly closing without discrepancies). · Reduction of accounting errors detected during audits. · Compliance with operational and financial budgets.
