




An important company in the construction sector is seeking new talent as: PURCHASING ASSISTANT (CONSTRUCTION SECTOR) POSITION OBJECTIVES: Negotiate with suppliers and optimize costs in order to fulfill purchase requisitions, meeting the company's operational needs on time and as required. REQUIRED SKILLS: * Negotiation skills * Strong oral and written communication * Time management ability * Numerical analysis skills to interpret figures. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: * Conduct prospecting, searching, and negotiation with suppliers. * Attend to and follow up on urgent purchase requisitions for materials or machinery rentals requested by site supervisors. * Analyze each quotation received from suppliers, verifying that the supplies/tools/machinery to be purchased or rented meet the specifications authorized by the estimating department, that quantities match those requested in the requisitions, and that delivery availability meets the required timeline. * Maintain control of pending tasks. * Coordinate with the Warehouse Manager to ensure the inventory of supplies/tools/machinery is updated daily. * Promptly follow up on quotations requested by site supervisors. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Administration, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Architecture (completed) * Experience in procurement (minimum of 2 years, strictly in the construction sector, no exceptions). * High sense of responsibility * Ability to work under pressure * Organized * Must reside in the metropolitan area of San Pedro, Torreón, Gómez, or Lerdo. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel (intermediate-advanced).
