




Project Designer – Special Systems (Voice and Data, CCTV, Access Control, Audio and Video) Professional responsible for the comprehensive design of special systems, ensuring that each project complies with technical, regulatory, and operational standards required by the client. Responsible for generating accurate engineering documentation, selecting appropriate technology, and providing technical support during project execution. Main Responsibilities Prepare concept catalogs, descriptive technical specifications, and engineering documents for Voice and Data, CCTV, Access Control, Audio, Video, and related systems. Design single-line, topological, and architectural diagrams in AutoCAD, ensuring technical clarity and alignment with site architecture. Select equipment, materials, and accessories in accordance with applicable standards (TIA/EIA, NFPA, ISO/IEC), client requirements, and brand guidelines. Perform coverage and performance calculations (cameras, WiFi access points, speakers, sensors, among others) to validate the proposed design. Define conduit routing (trays, pipes, ducts, junction boxes), sizing capacities and considering future expansion. Prepare layouts, elevations, and rack and telecommunications room arrangements in Visio or AutoCAD, taking into account ventilation, power supply, cabling, and assembly order. Generate detailed construction drawings: connection points, terminations, patch panels, labeling, port diagrams, cable routes, etc. Analyze and update "as built" drawings for final project delivery, ensuring accuracy between design and actual implementation. Prepare material lists (BOM), technical specification sheets, and key equipment data sheets. Develop technical proposals, engineering scopes, and documentation for tenders, competitions, or quotation processes. Collaborate with the implementation and on-site supervision team to resolve technical queries, validate designs, and make necessary adjustments during execution.
