CNC Bending Operator

Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Layout and Bending Operator skilled in sheet metal layout and bending, capable of interpreting engineering drawings and operating machinery to fabricate precision components. Key Responsibilities: 1. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately mark out components. 2. Operate shearing machines and bending machines (manual/hydraulic/CNC) to shape components. 3. Verify dimensions, tolerances, and component quality. OPEN POSITION: Layout and Bending Operator Mark out components from stainless steel sheet (and/or black steel and galvanized steel) according to drawings or instructions. Operate shearing machines (shears) to cut sheet metal. Operate bending machines (manual, hydraulic, or CNC, depending on equipment available) to shape the marked-out components. Verify dimensions, tolerances, and component quality. Adjust dies, punches, or tools on bending machines/shearing machines as required. Collaborate with the production team to meet delivery deadlines. Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation, adhering to safety regulations. Requirements Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a sheet metal layout operator and/or bending operator (preferably in stainless steel furniture or similar). Knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in measurement and use of measuring instruments (vernier calipers, squares, protractors) and reading dimensional specifications. Experience operating machinery: bending machines (manual/hydraulic/CNC) and shearing machines. Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
