




Job Summary: Implements and manages payroll systems, ensuring accuracy, legal compliance, and employee benefits support, as well as proper management of audits and funding. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages payroll and benefits systems. 2. Ensures legal compliance and audits. 3. Provides employee support for benefits inquiries. • Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll transaction processing, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes in salary rates. • Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions. • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and best practices regarding payroll, wages, and hours. • Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors. • Audits F-1 visa status to ensure FICA exemption compliance. • Processes monthly benefits invoices for payment and reconciles charges against contributions. • Manages funding for 401(k) and HSA contributions. • Assists employees with benefits inquiries. • Monitors COBRA activities. • Conducts weekly benefits orientation. • Ensures new employees are correctly and promptly enrolled in benefits. • Responds to unemployment claims. . -Requirements- Minimum Education: Higher education – Bachelor's degree 3 years of experience Languages: English Age: Between 25 and 55 years old Knowledge: Benefits administration, Payroll preparation, Microsoft Excel Willingness to travel: Yes Keywords: payroll, salary, wages, compensation, salary, payslip, payroll, wage, pay, payment, payroll clerk, specialist
