Guide and share expertise with fellow developers We are seeking a Lead Java Spring MVC \& Boot Production Support Engineer to lead complex application support initiatives in an extensive wealth management project. The position involves managing Level 3 and 4 incident resolution, delivering Java application improvements, and ensuring microservices remain stable and efficient. Join us to make a meaningful impact on mission\-critical systems. **Responsibilities** * Handle incident tickets, service demands, and support tasks efficiently * Offer on\-call coverage during US CST hours and in urgent downtime scenarios * Apply small\-scale enhancements, system updates, and ongoing maintenance to Java applications * Repair defects and enrich backend microservices and REST APIs * Carry out unit tests for implemented changes * Oversee the lifecycle of change requests from start to deployment authorization * Maintain adherence to coding best practices, CI pipeline processes, and robust unit testing * Actively participate in scrum meetings, status handovers, and collaboration discussions * Provide guidance and share expertise with fellow developers * Help offshore units remove blockers and organize work priorities * Collaborate with colleagues to deliver optimal client coverage * Work toward ongoing optimization of support methodologies **Requirements** * At least 5 years of hands\-on experience with Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot * Demonstrated ability to lead and coach technical teams * History in production support for large enterprise\-grade applications * Familiarity with APIs and distributed microservices architectures * Strong critical thinking and problem\-solving skills * Outstanding communication capabilities * Self\-driven mindset with ownership of outcomes * English proficiency at Upper\-Intermediate (B2\) level * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent * Master’s in Computer Science is a plus **Nice to have** * Experience handling Java Microservice Infrastructure * Knowledge of Spring Core
