Maintain order and cleanliness in warehouses to ensure optimal storage conditions Iidea Company is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator 5.0 FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Adhere to established storage procedures to implement good storage practices, ensuring the safety of stored products. * Operate forklifts in compliance with safety guidelines for moving products and materials. * Complete the daily forklift checklist using the designated format to verify proper equipment functionality prior to operation. * Maintain warehouse order and cleanliness per established cleaning plans to ensure stored products remain under optimal storage conditions. * Accurately complete departmental forms to document performed operations, using formats approved by the company's quality management systems. * Identify warehouse materials by applying defined warehouse labels to ensure traceability of stored materials. * Verify that the quantity and type of product match those specified on the outbound order; report any discrepancies to the area supervisor to maintain warehouse inventory control. * Verbally report damaged materials to the supervisor upon detection, so the supervisor may complete the required forms and notifications. * Conduct physical warehouse inventory counts in accordance with established procedures to support the implementation of cyclic inventory programs. * Apply the first-in, first-out (FIFO) principle using material warehouse entry dates and/or product batch numbers to ensure proper product rotation within the warehouse.
