




**POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation of the meat processing plant by planning, executing, and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance programs for slaughter, deboning, and processing equipment, ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, and industrial safety standards. **REQUIREMENTS:** Education: · Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering or related field. Experience: · Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in the meat, food, or similar processing industries. · Experience with slaughtering equipment, conveyor belts, injectors, refrigeration and vacuum chambers. · Experience managing technical personnel. Technical knowledge: · Mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics. · Process automation and control. · Preventive and predictive maintenance programs. · Food safety and industrial safety standards. Skills and competencies: · Leadership and team management. · Planning and organization. · Problem analysis and resolution skills. · Ability to work under pressure. · Results-oriented and continuous improvement focus. · Availability for shifts and on-call duties. · Work in cold and humid environments. · Constant interaction with production and quality teams. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1\. Planning and supervision · Develop and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs for machinery and equipment. · Ensure operational availability of critical areas: slaughter, dressing, deboning, packaging, and cold rooms. 2\. Equipment and process management · Supervise and provide technical support for equipment such as vacuum machines, conveyor belts, injectors, slaughtering systems, boilers, compressors, and automated equipment. · Coordinate with production to reduce downtime due to maintenance. 3\. Personnel management · Lead and train technicians in electrical, mechanical, and automation maintenance. · Assign daily tasks and verify their completion. 4\. Safety, quality, and food safety · Ensure maintenance activities comply with food safety standards (HACCP, USDA, TIF, ISO 22000 as applicable). · Implement safety measures to prevent risks in high-impact areas such as slaughter and deboning. 5\. Administrative management · Manage spare parts, tools, and materials inventories. · Prepare technical reports and metrics on line stoppages and equipment efficiency. · Propose improvement projects and cost reduction initiatives in maintenance.
