




**Culiacán Botanical Garden is seeking:** *MAINTENANCE MANAGER* **Education:** Civil Engineering degree or proven experience. **Work Experience:** 2 to 3 years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of infrastructure, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, climate control, and security systems. **Responsibilities:** **Infrastructure** · Regularly inspect the structural condition of buildings, greenhouses, offices, laboratories, restrooms, warehouses, etc. · Perform or coordinate minor repairs: cracks, leaks, material wear, etc. · Carry out painting, waterproofing, and sealing tasks on roofs or walls. · Monitor and carry out pest fumigation in buildings. · Supervise that art pieces are maintained in optimal conditions. · Control the condition of doors, windows, locks, grilles, and carpentry or metalwork elements. **2\. Electrical and Lighting Systems** · Verify the operation of internal and external electrical installations. · Maintain panels, wiring, breakers, and protection systems in good condition. · Replace faulty lighting fixtures along pathways, common areas, offices, and public spaces. · Coordinate periodic technical inspections to prevent short circuits or overloads. **3\. Hydraulic and Sanitary Systems** · Supply and fill cisterns for operations. · Monitor and repair leaks in pipes, faucets, water tanks, and pumps. · Keep public and staff restrooms operational: toilets, sinks, showers. · Supervise the wastewater system, septic tanks, or treatment plant. · Monitor the technical operation of automated irrigation systems. **4\. Climate Control, Ventilation, and Environmental Monitoring** · Check the status and operation of air conditioning systems, fans, or exhaust units in offices, laboratories, or greenhouses. · Verify humidity, temperature, or CO₂ sensors in controlled zones. **5\. Security and Accessibility** · Monitor the status of alarms, motion sensors, security cameras, and access controls. · Ensure access points are safe and accessible for people with disabilities (ramps, handrails, signage). · Maintain fire extinguishers, emergency lights, evacuation signs, and emergency exits in good condition. **6\. Equipment and Tools Management** · Maintain inventory of tools, electrical equipment, and operational materials. · Schedule inspections and maintenance for pruning equipment, golf carts, pruning tractors, compressors, generators, etc. · Ensure secure and organized storage of all materials. **7\. Coordination and Administration** · Develop preventive maintenance plans and intervention schedules. · Supervise technical staff or contracted companies. · Request quotes and purchase necessary spare parts or supplies. · Keep records of completed maintenance, detected failures, and corrective actions. · Coordinate with other garden departments to avoid interference. **8\. Support for Events and Special Operations** · Prepare facilities for exhibitions, events, lectures, or special visits. · Collaborate with event operators on operational needs. · Coordinate setup and teardown operations for the Christmas project. **9\. People Management:** · Supervise, motivate, and support assigned team members. · Delegate tasks, assign roles, and ensure efficient workflow. · Provide constant feedback on performance and work quality. · Develop internal talent by promoting training and team growth. · Evaluate performance and participate in selection processes if necessary. · Weekly meetings with leaders, progress reports, and sharing of new projects. · Reorganize all priority information and follow up on action items. · Attend special meetings. · Conduct planning and administration of human capital. · Interact with different institutional departments through joint projects. · Monitor human capital development. · Conduct team-building activities. **10\. Administrative Management:** · Control the use of departmental resources, supplies, and tools. · Collaborate in continuous process improvement. · Assist coordination with the administrative account of authorized funds for the department and its tracking. · Assist in developing the department's annual operational plan through project requests. · Support information requests from other departments. · Prepare budgets for funding requests. · Manage cost-saving initiatives. **11\.
