**Operations Director**
Hybrid / Primarily on-site in Cuernavaca, Morelos, with frequent travel to CDMX and construction sites.
Level: Executive (C-Level)
Contract type: Full-time, indefinite-term
PRIMARY JOB OBJECTIVE
* Lead the professionalization and growth of the construction company.
* The Operations Director must restructure current operations, design and implement standardized processes, and lead the successful development and execution of new infrastructure projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Professionalize operations: diagnose the current situation, define a clear organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities.
* Design, implement, and document operational, administrative, financial, and quality processes across the entire company (tendering, construction execution, cost control, procurement, safety, etc.).
* Lead new project development: identify opportunities, prepare technical and economic proposals, participate in public and private tenders.
* Direct the planning, execution, control, and closure of hydraulic, electrical, and pavement construction projects.
* Rigorously manage costs, budgets, cash flow, and project-level profitability.
* Strengthen key institutional relationships (CONAGUA, CFE, state and municipal governments, etc.).
* Lead, develop, and consolidate the team of engineers, site supervisors, administrators, and operational staff.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, quality standards, and industry best practices.
* Report monthly to the Board on operational and financial results, as well as progress in process implementation.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
* Civil Engineer; postgraduate degree desirable in Business Administration, Finance, or
* Project Management.
* Minimum 12–15 years of experience in infrastructure construction, including at least 7–8 years in executive positions (Operations Director, CEO, or General Manager).
* Proven experience leading large-scale hydraulic, electrical, and pavement construction projects.
* Demonstrable track record implementing processes and operational structuring within construction companies.
* Strong experience in project development and public tenders. Strategic vision + execution capability (“hands-on” approach).
* Established leadership and high-level negotiation skills.
* Willingness to reside in Cuernavaca or its metropolitan area. Preferred qualifications:
* Prior experience with companies undergoing professionalization or rapid growth.
* PMP, Lean Construction, ISO 9001, or BIM certifications.
* Established network of contacts in the public infrastructure sector.
