Description

Position Summary: Automation professional with experience in PLC/HMI programming, frequency drive configuration, fault diagnosis, and development of efficiency improvement projects. Key Highlights: 1. Advanced PLC, HMI, and frequency drive programming 2. Analysis, troubleshooting, and improvements in automation 3. Leads projects from requirement gathering through commissioning - Intermediate-to-advanced PLC and HMI programming: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Delta. (Automotive function) - Configuration and programming of frequency drives: Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi. - Analysis and troubleshooting. - Propose and implement improvement ideas for automation equipment efficiency. - Report utilization of assigned equipment on direct routes to plants, as well as identify improvement opportunities. - Perform fault diagnosis on equipment. - Reading and designing pneumatic and electrical diagrams. - Selection of components, equipment, and related services. - Instrumentation and control (temperature sensors, pressure transmitters, speed sensors, etc.). - Communication protocols: Ethernet/IP, TCP/IP, DeviceNet, ASI, ControlNet, Profinet, Profibus, CANopen. - Programming software: Studio 5000, TIA Portal, RSLogix, FactoryTalk View. - Operation of industrial vision systems: Keyence, Cognex. - Automotive operation. - Receive client requirements: projects or process improvements. - Conduct site visits to perform surveys. - Issue purchase orders for required materials. - Design equipment to be manufactured with support from the design department. - Contribute to project delivery and commissioning. - Provide technical support. - Deliver training on operation of delivered equipment. Advanced Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) **Application software.** Required software expertise: TIA Portal, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View Studio, Keyence software, Cognex software.
