




Job Summary: Provide support for in-store operational floor activities—including sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service—to achieve operational and commercial performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: 1. Arrange merchandise and execute correct planograms. 2. Assist customers by clarifying product and pricing questions. 3. Process transactions at the register, including cash and card payments. Provide support for in-store operational floor activities by adhering to AutoZone’s established operational processes related to sales, merchandise arrangement, and customer service—collaborating effectively to meet the assigned store’s operational and commercial performance metrics. * Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, in overflow areas, and in delivery trucks according to applicable merchandise placement guidelines. * Execute correct planograms; * Scan merchandise to fulfill inventory counts; * Perform proper “fronting” and labeling to categorize merchandise, and participate in store opening and closing tasks as well as sales-floor cleaning activities—to ensure accurate merchandise arrangement and optimal store presentation. * Assist customers by clarifying questions regarding product location, specific product type information, function, and pricing—delivering excellent service reflected in successful point-of-sale transactions; also handle customer phone calls to address inquiries about specific products or orders. * Accurately process register transactions using cash or cards, and process returns in compliance with AutoZone’s register payment policy—to ensure effective payment processing and transaction completion for sales closures. * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior experience as a warehouse associate, cashier, or general assistant. * Customer service experience is preferred.
