We are looking for a **Database Engineer** to join our team. You will be essential in maintaining the availability, performance, and security of our systems. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Manage and support over 1000 SQL Server database servers** (versions 2000 to 2019\). * **Plan and execute database migrations from SQL Server to Postgre.** * Troubleshoot complex issues, tune performance, and ensure data integrity. * Implement software, hardware updates, and security patches. * Participate in system implementation and improvement projects. * **Provide 24x7 on\-call support on a rotating shift basis.** **Requirements:** * **Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in SQL Server database administration.** * **Advanced English C1\.** * Proven experience in SQL Server to Postgre migrations. * Knowledge of SQL Server versions 2008R2, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019\. * Experience with legacy versions such as SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008\. * Ability to work in a 24x7 support environment. * Knowledge of other relational database management systems (RDBMS) is a plus. **Benefits:** * 100% salaried position. * 12 vacation days. * 15 days of year-end bonus (aguinaldo). * 25% vacation bonus. * PTU payment. * 4% savings fund. * Grocery vouchers. * Life insurance. * Major medical expense insurance (extendable to immediate family members).
