Job Summary: The Precision Die Toolmaker is responsible for guiding technicians, troubleshooting issues, setting up and modifying dies, and collaborating on area development. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support for preventive maintenance and die setup. 2. Technical guidance for equipment troubleshooting. 3. Collaboration with multiple departments on a new project. **Your Role** The Precision Die Toolmaker will guide molding technicians on die setup and equipment troubleshooting in the toolroom to ensure production meets Engineering team requirements. **Our Team** You will work on a team assigned to a new project and collaborate with other departments—including Quality, Engineering, Materials, Production, Human Resources, Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance, EHS, External Suppliers, and Contractors—to meet departmental metrics aligned with company philosophy. **What You’ll Do** • Provide preventive maintenance support for dies * Develop solutions to issues arising with stamping, molding, and precision dies * Perform die setup * Support the team in PFMA development * Guide molding technicians on equipment setup and troubleshooting * Modify dies per Engineering team change requests * Launch new dies, validating that required processes are covered * Provide feedback to Design Engineers, Automation Engineers, and Toolroom personnel to identify area and process improvements * Document work instructions and generate any necessary visual aids • Collaborate with the team on area development and continue in-house part manufacturing **Who You Are (Basic Requirements)** • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to tooling or machine tools—Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics preferred. * 2 years of experience with high-precision dies. * Solid knowledge of machine tools. * Solid knowledge of handling heavy molds. * Solid knowledge of GD&T. * Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or NX.
