ENSURING EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY, ORDER, CLEANLINESS, AND PROPER OPERATION TO REDUCE MECHANICAL RISKS AND MAXIMIZE MACHINERY UTILIZATION WHILE ALWAYS FOLLOWING SAFETY GUIDELINES. **MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Follow procedures and policies where activities are performed. * Identify, repair, resolve, and prevent mechanical failures using testing equipment. Perform established routine inspections and responsibly use the MC system to report work activities. * Comply with mold change schedules. * Coordinate with production for equipment handover/receipt for inspection and/or repair, and notify the TL, area supervisor, and/or plant manager of potential equipment failures. * Develop and implement maintenance procedures and forms. * Pursue continuous internal development through courses and ongoing training to improve performance. * Comply with weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance programs, verifying the proper condition of mechanical installations. **JOB SPECIFICATIONS** **Education:** ELECTROMECHANICAL, MECHATRONICS, OR MECHANICAL ENGINEER. **Work Experience**: 2 YEARS AS AN ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, WITH KNOWLEDGE IN THERMOFORMING, CHILLERS, COMPRESSORS, EXTRUSION, AND INDUSTRIAL MECHANICAL SYSTEMS (GEARS, PULLEYS, BELTS, SHAFTS, GEARBOXES, WATER PUMPS, AIR COMPRESSORS, HVAC). **GRADUATE IN MECHATRONICS OR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.** **Skills / Competencies:** TEAMWORK, DISCIPLINED, ORGANIZED, SYSTEMATIC, RESPONSIBLE, SAFETY AWARENESS, ABILITY TO USE ELECTRICAL AND MANUAL TOOLS. **Other Requirements (Systems, Software, Legal Knowledge, etc):** OFFICE, TPM, LEAN MANUFACTURING, BPM, ISO 9001, HACCP, FOOD SAFETY, CMMS, LOTO.
