**General Accountant** **Location:** Huejotzingo, Puebla **Position Type:** Full-time \| On-site **Position Objective** Ensure accurate recording, control, and analysis of the company’s financial and accounting information within a manufacturing environment, guaranteeing compliance with tax, legal, and administrative obligations under applicable regulations, as well as providing reliable financial information for decision-making. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise and execute accounting entries for all the company’s financial transactions. * Prepare monthly and annual financial statements. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Perform bank reconciliations and balance reviews. * Coordinate and supervise monthly and annual accounting closings. * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax obligations. * Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., Income Tax, VAT, Payroll Tax). * Coordinate internal and external audits. * Prepare financial reports and analyses for management. * Maintain up-to-date accounting records in accordance with applicable regulations. * Follow up on requests from tax and government authorities. * Implement and supervise internal financial and administrative controls. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Professional license preferred. * Minimum 5 years of experience in similar positions. * Experience in manufacturing-sector companies. * Knowledge of general, tax, and financial accounting. * Familiarity with Income Tax, VAT, and REPSE regulations. * Experience with ERP accounting systems and administrative software. * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency. * Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency. **Position Profile** * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * High level of organization and attention to detail. * Leadership and personnel management skills. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * High degree of integrity and confidentiality. * Proactive, results-oriented attitude.
