It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities. **Job Description** =================== **Molding Engineer** Ensure that molding validation and engineering processes are executed efficiently, in accordance with BD standards, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements and optimization of molding processes.**Responsibilities:** * Apply the Molding Validation Toolkit during review, execution, and closure of validation activities, verifying that validation methodology and specific tools—including risk analysis, development of control plans, and measurement system analysis—are applied effectively to ensure compliance with BD standards. * Monitor compliance with the Master Validation Plan (MVP) and Validation Program (VP), providing feedback to process owners and teams included in the validation program using appropriate metrics to ensure the MVP remains current and complies with applicable national and international regulations. * Provide support and ensure compliance with established Validation standards by drafting and executing validation protocols and reports through quality tools; reviewing and approving such documents and improving validation work effectiveness to maintain and enhance validation practices in alignment with corporate requirements. * Lead engineering projects by coordinating activities with multidisciplinary teams—including Quality, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, New Product Engineering, Finance, and Continuous Improvement—for equipment and machine acquisition, installation, and commissioning. * Responsible for developing and implementing Change Controls for products, equipment, machines, and processes, following internal and corporate guidelines for activity execution. * Identify production needs for molding process optimization by reviewing line performance and analyzing relevant studies to ensure product quality and compliance with quality standards. * Track and respond to molded product complaints via the CAPA system (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to address internal or external customer concerns. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement. * Advanced English proficiency. * Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks. * Experience developing FMEAs. * Experience in project management. * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. * Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding for creating and adjusting processes based on the scientific molding method. **Why Join Us?** ================ To find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
