Fiber Optic Installation Technician

Description

We are seeking a Fiber Optic Installation Technician to install and configure internet, television, and telephone services for residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities * Install and configure fiber optic networks. * Provide customer service and support during installations. * Use specialized tools and work at heights. * Handle coaxial, UTP cabling, and RJ45 / RJ11 connectors\. * Operate testing equipment such as OTDRs and power meters. * Maintain constant communication with supervisors and team members. Requirements * Minimum required experience of 6 months in fiber optic installation. * Verifiable experience with companies such as Izzi, Megacable, or Telmex. * Candidates with experience solely as technician assistants will not be considered. * Minimum education level: Completed elementary school. * Ability to drive a standard vehicle. * Valid driver's license. * Willingness and ability to work at heights (no acrophobia). * Familiarity with basic tools and color-coding standards.
