Job Summary: The Warehouse Worker is responsible for supplying materials to production, processing requisitions and returns, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. We are seeking: **Warehouse Worker** ***Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:15 PM \- 6:10 AM*** **Job Summary** The Warehouse Worker is responsible for supplying materials to production areas and handling material requisitions and returns. **Requirements:** * Completed junior high school education. * 6 months of forklift experience (stand-up type). * Office skills. * FIFO (First In \- First Out). * Analytical mindset. * SQF/HACCP knowledge. * GMP knowledge. * Food defense knowledge. * Pest control knowledge. * Cleaning and disinfection knowledge. * Cross-contamination awareness. * Work order management. **Responsibilities:** * Complies with all company-established safety measures, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE), etc. * Ensures fire extinguishers, emergency exits, electrical panels, and fire hydrants are in good condition and unobstructed. * Knows the company’s evacuation routes. * Reports any unsafe conditions related to equipment, facilities, or tools to prevent potential accidents. * Ensures aisles remain clear of materials or objects that could obstruct them. * Complies with and enforces SQF food safety standards (Adequacy of the food safety program, Pest control, Operational methods and personnel practices, Maintenance for food safety, Cleaning practices). * Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). * Understands Glass and Blood Policies. * Ensures their work area remains clean and organized at all times. * Understands quality criteria applicable to their assigned operations. * Ensures trailer unloading occurs timely and accurately, verifying physical goods against documentation. * Ensures warehouse and quality-related supporting documentation for any shipment is complete and submitted timely. * Ensures documentation for each event is properly recorded to enable system transactions. * Performs tasks according to established procedures. * Verifies that materials to be delivered correspond to a valid work order and do not exceed the requested quantity. * Verifies timely deliveries, correct quantities, and proper application of FIFO (First In \- First Out) for parts and items used in production areas to support work orders. * Ensures documentation for each event is properly recorded to enable system transactions. * Maintains zero inventory in the returns area corresponding to their assigned zone. * Performs tasks according to established procedures. * Ensures priority shipments are loaded as soon as possible. * Prepares, documents, and loads trailers containing finished goods, raw materials, and equipment destined for the El Paso warehouse or direct customers, accurately and on time. * Optimizes space and weight per specifications (maximum 40,000 lb.). * Properly maintains the Finished Goods Ticket and Outbound Advice filing system. * Ensures documentation for each event is properly recorded to enable system transactions. * Performs tasks according to established procedures. * Documents, weighs, and loads scrap candy generated by the assigned production area onto trailers. * Local Supplier Receipts: * Receives goods, reconciles physical items against invoices/delivery notes, and delivers them to requisitioning departments accurately and on time. * Performs tasks according to established procedures. * Cleans the area where any movement activity occurred. * Knows and complies with area cleaning requirements per the Master Cleaning Schedule. * Performs tasks according to established procedures. * Conducts inventories in the assigned area per the inventory schedule. * Maintains an excellent attendance record (0 absences). * Maintains an excellent punctuality record (1 late arrival per month).
