Job Objective** Ensure the quality, stability, and optimal performance of financial applications and systems by executing load, stress, and performance tests. The Performance Tester will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring systems meet required performance standards in a highly demanding financial environment. **3. Key Responsibilities** * **Design and execute performance tests**: Develop test plans for load, stress, endurance, and spike testing for critical financial-sector applications. * **Analyze results**: Interpret performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and generate detailed reports with optimization recommendations. * **Collaborate with technical teams**: Work jointly with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to validate improvements and optimizations. * **Monitoring and baselining**: Establish performance baselines and continuously monitor metrics in production and pre-production environments. * **Test automation**: Develop reusable test scripts and scenarios for integration into CI/CD pipelines. * **Technical documentation**: Produce detailed documentation of methodologies, results, and lessons learned. * **Regulatory compliance**: Ensure tests comply with financial regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR, local regulations). * **Training**: Transfer knowledge to other team members on performance testing best practices. **4. Tools, Languages, and Platforms** **Testing Tools:** * JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or similar * Apache Locust * Dynatrace, New Relic, or AppDynamics (APM) **Programming Languages:** * Java, Python, or Groovy (for advanced scripting) * SQL (for database analysis) **Platforms and Technologies:** * Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) * Docker and Kubernetes * Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) * REST and SOAP APIs * CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) **Monitoring and Infrastructure:** * ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) * Prometheus and Grafana * Financial-specific monitoring systems **5. Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)** ✓ **Experience**: Minimum 4 years in performance testing within the financial sector ✓ **In-depth knowledge**: Load, stress, and performance testing methodologies ✓ **Specialized tools**: Proficiency in at least one performance testing tool (JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling) ✓ **Metrics analysis**: Ability to interpret and analyze performance metrics (latency, throughput, CPU, memory) ✓ **Advanced SQL**: Complex queries for database analysis ✓ **Financial environment**: Proven experience with financial, transactional, or high-volume systems ✓ **Technical communication**: Ability to document and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders ✓ **Autonomy**: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects ✓ **Technical English**: Minimum B2 level (reading and writing) **6.
