Job Summary: We are seeking a Mid-Level Backend Engineer with experience in Go and PostgreSQL to develop a CPaaS platform focused on SMS, Email, and WhatsApp messaging, designing and maintaining backend services. Growth path toward Backend Senior or Tech Lead **Mid-Level Backend Engineer — Go | PostgreSQL | REST APIs | Hybrid CDMX** We are looking for **2 Mid-Level Backend Engineers** to join our Engineering team and participate in the development of a CPaaS platform focused on SMS, Email, and WhatsApp messaging. We seek backend profiles with hands-on experience building services in **Go**, working with **PostgreSQL**, REST APIs, message queues, Docker, GitHub PRs, and sound testing practices. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, build, and maintain backend services in Go. * Implement REST APIs with clear contracts. * Work with PostgreSQL, SQL queries, indexes, and transactions. * Implement message queue producers/consumers. * Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous code improvement. * Validate changes in staging and support debugging of production incidents. * Document services, technical decisions, and runbooks where applicable. **Requirements:** * 2–4 years of professional backend experience with Go. * Experience designing REST APIs. * Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL. * Knowledge of Go concurrency: goroutines, channels, contexts. * Experience with at least one message queue: Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, SQS, or Redis Streams. * Experience with Docker and GitHub. * Clear communication in Spanish. * Technical English reading proficiency. **Desirable:** * Experience with Kafka. * Experience with SQLC or SQL-based code generators. * Knowledge of ClickHouse, Redis, or multi-tenant systems. * Experience in CPaaS, telco, SaaS, fintech, or transactional systems. * Observability using tools such as Datadog, Elastic APM, or OpenTelemetry. **Offer:** * Salary: **MXN $35,000–$45,000 net per month**, depending on qualifications. * Work mode: **Hybrid in CDMX**, 3 days per week onsite at Montes Urales St. * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 hrs. * Statutory benefits. * Growth path toward Backend Senior, Staff Engineer, or Tech Lead.
