Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments The Java Consultant focuses on developing robust and scalable microservices under a distributed architecture. They will be responsible for building backend solutions for transactional products (payment gateway), ensuring quality, security, and high performance. They will work with modern technologies such as Java 17\+, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments. **Job Responsibilities** * **5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining microservices using Java (17\+) and Spring Boot.** * Implement secure, scalable, and well-documented REST APIs. * **1 year of experience managing services on AWS, such as EC2, S3, RDS, and/or Lambda.** * Build business logic and reusable components. * Integrate internal and external services (APIs, third-party services). * Manage data persistence with JPA/Hibernate in relational databases. * Optimize SQL queries and application performance. * Apply validations, error handling, and security standards. * Develop and execute unit tests (JUnit, Mockito). * Participate in code reviews. * Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams. * Participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban). * Document architecture, processes, and technical components. * Provide support and maintenance for production systems. * Report progress, technical risks, and continuous improvements. **Requirements:** * 5 years of backend Java development experience * Solid experience with Spring Boot and distributed architecture * At least 1 year of experience working with AWS infrastructure * Payment gateway experience is desirable.
