QUALITY CONTROL – CLN WORKSHOP Central Zone, Culiacán, Sinaloa Job Objective Ensure that every optical job meets quality, accuracy, and presentation standards before being dispatched to branches, guaranteeing proper lens fabrication and compliance with the requested prescription. Main Responsibilities: Inspect edged lenses to verify compliance with prescribed power, dimensions, and established quality standards. Verify that frames and lenses are correctly assembled and free of aesthetic or technical defects. Identify, document, and report errors or anomalies detected during the inspection process. Coordinate with the edging department necessary corrections to ensure final work quality. Perform quality control tests before releasing each order for shipment. Clean, adjust, and package each item, including accessories and corresponding documentation. Sort, organize, and group orders for correct distribution to branches. Maintain a tidy workspace and comply with internal quality and safety procedures. Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of quality control within optical processes or precision manufacturing. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to detect minor defects. Ability to interpret optical prescriptions and technical specifications. Organization and process tracking. Effective communication to report incidents and collaborate in teams. Sense of responsibility and results-oriented mindset. Requirements: Previous experience in quality control, preferably in the optical industry, manufacturing, or precision production. Desirable knowledge of lens edging and mounting processes.
