We are currently seeking a **Graphic Designer with experience and knowledge in prepress.** **Responsibilities:** * **Review and correction of files**: Verify that files are complete and properly prepared for production, correcting any design errors such as resolution issues, bleed, incorrect margins, or typographical errors. * **Color adjustment and separations**: Ensure colors are accurate and correctly configured according to the appropriate color profile for the type of printing (CMYK, RGB, White ink). Perform color separations when necessary. * **Preparation of files for printing**: Adjust files according to the technical specifications of the printer or printing process to be used, including proper resolution, file type (PDF, EPS, TIFF), and other technical parameters. * **Quality control**: Conduct preliminary print tests to verify design quality and color reproduction, identifying potential issues before mass production to minimize waste. * **Creation of visuals**: Provide visuals for client approval. * **Process optimization**: Identify efficiencies in workflow, optimizing time and resources required for file preparation and production. * **Communication**: Coordinate with production and sales teams to ensure they understand and can correctly execute file specifications. * **Technological updates**: Stay current with graphic design and prepress technologies and tools to continuously improve work efficiency and quality. **Requirements:** * Illustrator, Photoshop * **Prepress knowledge**: large format, flatbed, digital cutting, types of substrates. * Video editing skills desirable * Basic web design * High level of responsibility and commitment to timely delivery of materials * Good teamwork attitude * Adaptability to working hours * Ability to handle demanding situations effectively Our offices are located in Iztacalco delegation, 5 minutes from the UPIICSA Metrobús station.
