A leading company in the logistics sector is seeking a State-Licensed Class B Driver with **valid CLASS B STATE LICENSE** **PROFILES THAT DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED** **Main Responsibilities** * Operation and driving: Operate the dump truck to transport construction materials, soil, debris, or waste to assigned destinations. * Equipment inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of the truck before each shift, checking oil, water, fuel levels, and the overall condition of tires, brakes, and the dumping mechanism. * Basic maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning equipment, lubricating parts, and reporting any wear or damage to the machinery. * Loading and unloading: Load and unload the truck safely and efficiently, ensuring the load is properly distributed to comply with regulations. **Handling and Logistics** * Route planning: Be familiar with city routes and work zones to efficiently transport materials. * Communication: Maintain professional and courteous communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and coworkers. * Compliance with regulations: Ensure loads are properly distributed, complying with safety and transportation regulations. **Safety and Responsibilities** * Safety adherence: Follow all established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when necessary. * Responsibility: Be responsible for the care of assigned equipment and for following company instructions and policies. * Record keeping: Maintain records of completed jobs, required repairs, and any machinery malfunctions.
