As a Program Synopsis Writer, you'll play a hands\-on role in making that happen — researching and writing program descriptions, proofreading for accuracy and consistency, and maintaining our ever\-growing content database to the highest editorial standards. You'll collaborate closely with a team that cares deeply about quality, move fast without cutting corners, and take real ownership of the data you deliver. If you're detail\-obsessed, love the world of TV and streaming, and want your work to reach millions of viewers through the operators we serve — you'll feel right at home here. **Requirements** You are successful when: * You have researched missing television program synopses using broadcaster and official source materials, ensuring full understanding of content requirements. * You have reviewed, proofread, and edited synopsis content to ensure accuracy in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and US English standards. * You have verified all program descriptions for factual correctness, completeness, and editorial consistency before entry. * You have created, updated, and entered synopsis records into internal systems. * You have identified gaps, inconsistencies, and duplicates in program metadata and resolved them through research and correction. * The data delivered is accurate, complete, consistent, and error\-free, meeting quality standards and deadlines. *Please note that training will be provided on US English editorial and language standards.* Qualifications You'll thrive in this role if you: * Have a university degree in a relevant area, e.g. English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Business, Data, or a related field. * Have excellent proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail * Work very structured, and are so detail oriented that you can spot errors from a mile away * Love working at a fast pace * Are very comfortable with data search, computers, and databases * Get energy from learning something new and making yourself better every day * Have great collaborative skills that make others love working with you * Are passionate about our product and what great metadata can do * Show a strong willingness to get your hands dirty and a strong drive to succeed * Are able to thrive in a fast\-paced environment where no day is the same * Want to grow a career in Simply.TV **Please note \- we can only accept CVs in English!** Why join?* Work at the forefront of media tech – Help shape how millions discover TV \& streaming content. * Sharpen your research \& data skills – Gain hands\-on experience with metadata, databases \& quality control. * Be part of a global, supportive team – Collaborate with 300\+ colleagues from around the world. Practicalities* Reports to: Operations Manager \- Content Development * Employment Type: Freelancer * Location: Mexico * Type of Collaboration: Freelancer setup ( Full\-time \- 40hrs/week) **Benefits** Collaboration based on a freelancer set\-up is up to 1,000 USD per month on a full\-time allocation basis (40 hours per week).
