Responsibilities ### **Position Objective** Follow up on the local EHS Operational Plan and the monthly objectives established for MSA Mexico facilities, maintaining constant alignment with corporate requirements defined within the global EHS strategy. The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal and governmental regulations regarding safety, occupational health, and the environment, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization. * **Monitoring key indicators (NH, LTI, LTIR) and safety Gembas.** Ensure follow-up and analysis of incident and near-miss data, identifying areas or processes with opportunities for improvement. Guarantee compliance with global EHS programs and maintain conformity with Civil Protection requirements and other national authorities. * **Management of cleaning, property security, and nursing services.** Supervise the proper functioning of these internal services, ensuring safe and hygienic conditions in the facilities, protection of company assets, and appropriate medical care for employees. Follow up on occupational health cases and high-risk situations in coordination with Social Security. * **Development of training, safety, and environmental programs.** Keep the training and job safety analysis (JSA) matrix updated, promote prevention programs and continuous improvement in safety, health, and environmental topics. Analyze risk situations to implement preventive measures and ensure proper management of waste generated by the company. * **Machine and equipment safety.** Update and validate safety risk assessments for equipment (ESRAs), ensuring that tools and workstations meet ergonomic and safety requirements. Verify and apply the objectives established in the EHS plan. * **Interdepartmental relationships and organizational influence.** Foster effective relationships with different plant areas to ensure the implementation of safe practices.
