Parque Tecnológico Innovación **LIVING NEAR THE SITE IS MANDATORY; OWN TRANSPORTATION OR PLANS TO RELOCATE NEAR THE SITE (NO TRANSPORTATION ISSUES) ARE REQUIRED.** **REQUIREMENTS** **Objective:** Performs necessary technical activities in the production area to maintain equipment operational within required operational and quality standards to meet customer requirements on time and as specified. **Environmental Objective:** Maintain environmental impact related to job performance at a minimum level by complying with procedures defined in QDM for this purpose. **Requirements:** *GENERAL:* * Technical High School Graduate / TSU / Mechanical, Industrial or Related Engineer * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a plastic injection process technician in the automotive sector. * Experience in personnel management (3 or more people) * Age: 30 years or older. * Flexible working hours. * Availability to rotate shifts. * Availability to work overtime on weekends. * Preferably residing near the QDM plant. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE: * Knowledge of injection molding (operation or at least familiarity with scientific molding concepts) * Demonstrable experience working with engineering resins (POM, PBT\+GF, PA66) and their proper handling (drying, transportation, pigmenting) * Demonstrable knowledge of process sheets and documentation for equipment setup and release of injection processes. * Knowledge and experience in compliance with IATF 16949\. * Knowledge of 2K injection, pigmenting (gravimetric, volumetric), injection machines with rotary platens, Mucell (at least familiarity with this technology). * Experience operating KRAUSS MAFFEI and ARBURG machines (up to 500 tons). * Experience in mold assembly. * Desired: Operation of Witmann linear robots (preferably Krauss Maffei). *ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE* * Knowledge of hazardous waste handling generated in the plastic injection industry. * Basic training on water and/or natural resource conservation. **Responsibilities / Assignments:** * Maintain injection molding machines and testing machines operational per company-defined standard processes. * Responsible for performing mold changes and/or coordinating mold changes with Technician B as indicated in the production schedule, including startup and release per company-defined system. * Responsible for coordinating with the materials specialist required material changes for mold changes and material supply to keep machines running. * Monitor production plans and schedules to request required mold version changes and their release. * Provide production support in troubleshooting injection molding machines, robots, and automation systems. * Report machinery and automation failures to Maintenance and Automation departments. * Report mold failures and/or malfunctions to the Mold Department per company internal system. * Coordinate with Technician B for monitoring and maintenance of the poka-yoke system for mold cooling. * Generate tracking and control records for peripheral equipment required in production (dryers, loaders, etc.). * Generate required quality records for production release. * Maintain operational condition of auxiliary furniture and equipment (resin bins, temperature regulators, dryers, ladders, etc.). * Monitor and maintain mold change accessories (clamps, fasteners, washers, connections, etc.). * Monitor and maintain end-of-arm tooling used for part extraction from injection molding machines. **Environmental Responsibilities:** \-Perform job-related activities while being aware of each associated environmental aspect. \-Comply with waste and/or substance handling plans and procedures defined by QDM related to the position. \-Instruct, direct, and train subordinates as needed to comply with environmental protection plans defined by QDM. **Authorities:** **\-**Correct environmental risk situations within one’s capability without endangering personal safety, and report such actions through defined communication channels and to immediate supervisor. \-Report environmental risk situations requiring intervention from other departments or beyond one’s capability to immediate supervisor and/or through defined communication channels. \-Supervise subordinates’ activities and instruct them, if necessary, to comply with environmental protection plans defined by QDM. **We Offer:** \-Benefits exceeding statutory requirements \-Savings fund: 8% \-Grocery vouchers: 8% Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $27,000\.00 \- $30,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Option for indefinite-term contract * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Workplace: On-site employment
