Job Summary: Perform polishing of steel parts and thermal treatment operations to ensure optimal finishes and meet customer requirements. Key Highlights: 1. Inspection and monitoring during the production process. **POLISHING OPERATOR (BARBER)** JOB OBJECTIVE Perform polishing of steel parts using various abrasive tools to eliminate machining marks on both internal and external surfaces, achieving optimal finishes that meet customer requirements. Also perform various thermal treatment operations. **Bi-weekly shift schedule** **Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.** **Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM; Friday, 4:30 PM to 12:00 AM.** REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent 1–2 years of experience in the metal-mechanical industry Ages 25–50 WE OFFER * Punctuality bonus: 10% * Attendance bonus: 10% * Christmas bonus: 21 days, increasing annually up to 30 days * Vacation bonus: 50% * Food allowance: 13.5% * Savings fund: 8% * Life insurance * Transportation * Subsidized cafeteria JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Review the polishing production schedule (Barber Mandrel Schedule) to identify daily priorities. * Mount the part onto the assigned fixture. * Protect critical areas of the part (e.g., bearing). * Polish both interior and exterior surfaces of the part. * Inspect finishes and prevent damage to critical areas; report any damage to the shift leader. * Dismount the part, record its removal in the system, and transfer it for thermal treatment. * Verify that parts available for thermal treatment meet design requirements (e.g., pin, gas vein, keyway, etc.). * Assemble thermal treatment loads according to production schedule priorities for TT. * Monitor part loading into furnaces and perform corresponding movements for quenching and tempering. * Conduct hardness sampling checks on parts after quenching and first tempering. * Keep the quenching system updated. * Maintain 5S standards in the work area.
