Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on production equipment, facilities, and improvement projects, with skills in mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding. Key Responsibilities: 1. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment. 2. Participates in the installation of new equipment and improvement projects. 3. Capable of shutting down equipment with failures that pose a risk. We are a group of companies dedicated to the manufacturing and commercialization of screws, and we are looking for you: **MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN** Minimum age: 22 GENDER: NOT SPECIFIED Education: Technical degree in mechanics, electricity, electronics, or TSU in industrial maintenance Knowledge and/or courses: mechanics, industrial and residential electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding Experience: 1 year **Physical Skills** ● Physical condition to work at heights and in confined spaces ● Dexterity to handle hand tools specific to the department. **Mental Skills** ● Logical reasoning, verbal and visual comprehension ● Frustration tolerance **Description of Activities, Functions, and/or Responsibilities** ● Perform corrective maintenance on production equipment ● Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment according to the preventive maintenance schedule ● Keep department documentation organized and up to date ● Perform maintenance on company facilities and infrastructure ● Install new equipment arriving at the company ● Participate in the execution of departmental projects and improvements ● Carry out tasks or activities assigned by the maintenance supervisor ● Start up and shut down cooling towers and compressors ● Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area ● Lubricate equipment ● Comply with established safety regulations ● Comply with the company's quality management system **AUTHORITY OF THIS POSITION** ● Shut down or stop equipment if it has a failure posing a risk to the operator or to the equipment itself. ● Keep equipment operating if it presents a failure that does not endanger the operator and does not affect product quality (but will notify the department supervisor to schedule correction of the failure). * Delegate tasks to the maintenance assistant when working together or when the department supervisor is unavailable. **PERSONAL SKILLS** * Responsible * Adaptable * Proactive * Reliable * Teamwork * Ability to work under pressure Employment type: Full-time, Indefinite term Salary: $1,000\.00 \- $1,001\.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
