




The Systems Officer will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and security of the institution's technological infrastructure. Their work contributes to the optimal development of academic and administrative activities through efficient management of computer equipment, networks, and technological laboratories. Main responsibilities: Administer and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on the institution's computer equipment. Provide technical support to teaching, administrative staff, and students. Supervise and maintain operational data networks, printers, and connectivity services. Manage cybersecurity and institutional data backups. Coordinate the use, control, and maintenance of computer labs. Install and update institutional software and operating systems. Support the planning and implementation of the institution's technology projects. Requirements: Professional degree in computer science, computer systems, or related field. Knowledge: LAN/WIFI networks and structured cabling. Hardware and software maintenance. Windows and Linux operating systems. On-site and remote technical support. Desirable experience in laboratory management or educational environments. Desired competencies: Service orientation and teamwork. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
