In our ‘always on’ world, we believe it’s essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do. **Mold Maker:** * Maintain molds in proper working condition, prepare written reports, and follow procedures and work instructions to ensure proper mold maintenance and part production using machines and tools. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all molds. * Comply with procedures and work instructions for mold maintenance. * Report any mold damage or unsafe conditions. * Keep work area clean and organized; responsible for tooling and equipment care. * Manufacture parts and fixtures using machines and tools (knowledge and operation of lathe, surface grinder, milling machine, etc.). Knowledge of CNC. * Education: Technical degree such as Toolmaker Technician. * Knowledge of TIG and Laser welding. * Computer use and software packages such as Office, SAP, SolidWorks (desirable). * Experience: Minimum 2 years in mold maintenance, preferably. * Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for plastic injection molds. * Experience with hot runners, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, cleaning, and repair. * Ability to diagnose mold failures. * Knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics. * Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics (desirable). * Use of measuring equipment, such as micrometer, caliper, optical comparator, etc. * Availability to work special shifts (mandatory). * Positive attitude.
