We are seeking a "Warehouse Manager". Salary: $**28,000.00 gross per month**. (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Education: Industrial Engineering / Process Engineering / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (DEGREE REQUIRED). Required qualifications: \- 6 years of experience as warehouse supervisor in the food or chemical industry, with handling and control of more than 6,000 pallets or tons. \- 6 years of experience as supervisor in CEDIS, handling and controlling more than 6,000 pallets or tons. \- Extensive experience in food industry standards and procedures (ISOS, SQF Level 3, FIFO system, ERP system, WMS and SAP, among others). Practical knowledge in: \- Preparation, coordination, and control of cyclic and annual general inventories. \- Storage, conditioning, and shipping techniques for materials (palletizing and loading). \- Product labeling and identification systems upon receipt of raw materials and finished products, returns of material fractions to warehouse (WMS). \- Operation of sit-down and stand-up forklifts (electric and combustion). \- Warehouse safety and hygiene (food and industrial). (Risk conditions in warehouses, rack conditions and capacities, use of harnesses and safety lines, interpretation of material diamonds, etc.) \- FIFO systems (first in - first out). \- Management of maximum and minimum inventory levels. \- Knowledge in handling and storage of chemical substances. \- ERP system (sap one). \- Good Manufacturing, Distribution, and Storage Practices. \- ISO 9001-2015. \- SQF level 3. \- Problem-solving tools (five whys, Ishikawa, pareto charts, 8 D’s). Job responsibilities: \- Organize and coordinate warehouse activities. \- Supervise the activities of personnel under supervision. \- Coordinate execution of activities involving interaction between the Querétaro warehouse and the Naucalpan warehouse to ensure they are completed on time and according to established parameters. \- Ensure and facilitate transaction processing (issuances, IBTs, RMAs, receipts, etc.) so they occur timely and correctly according to established parameters. \- Ensure inventory reliability through proper planning of rotating inventory schedules and compliance therewith. \- Ensure all personnel under supervision know and are trained on risks and precautions required for each stored material and finished product. \- Ensure all personnel under supervision know and are trained in fire fighting. \- Ensure participation of supervised personnel in fire brigade activities. \- Safeguard and enforce security of warehouse facilities, including stored materials, raw materials, and finished products. \- Provide weekly reports on materials and raw materials stock levels below safety stock. \- Generate purchase requisitions for packaging materials, raw materials, and packaging supplies approaching safety stock or minimum coverage levels. \- Generate requisitions for materials needed for warehouse cleaning and basic maintenance. \- Issue work orders to Maintenance for repairs or improvements supporting continuous improvement cycles in the warehouse. \- Identify training opportunity areas for supervised personnel. Request and follow up on training to ensure identified gaps are addressed. \- Determine material transfer needs from Querétaro plant to Naucalpan, considering material coverage reports and requirements from each department (laboratories, customer service, logistics, maintenance, and procurement). \- Coordinate daily inter-plant transfers with Logistics and Querétaro warehouse. \- Follow up on discrepancies found in cyclic, annual, semi-annual inventories, and any other discrepancies, verifying, validating, and tracking them, ultimately ensuring their adjustment in the system by accounting. \- Follow up on arrivals of raw materials and national and international packaging materials with the Procurement department to ensure timely and proper receipt, unloading, placement, and distribution. \- Manage incident reports of personnel under supervision. \- Coordinate at Querétaro plant with area supervisors on final unloading destinations for each arrival of raw materials, packaging materials, and equipment based on needs. \- Provide support and request it when necessary from different company departments to expedite supply chain and logistics operations. **Ensure every day that finished product shipments are fully loaded before 9:00 a.m.** \- Ensure container unloading is completed within no more than 2.5 hours (bulk) and 1 hour (palletized). \- Ensure uninterrupted access to loading and unloading docks at all times. \- Ensure pedestrian aisles around the dock horseshoe remain clear at all times. \- Ensure aisles are clear and materials properly stored on racks. \- Ensure physical movements of warehouse materials are accurately reflected in systems promptly.
