Join our outstanding team as... **Primary Function or General Purpose of the Position** * Coordinate and supervise daily production operations, ensuring production is carried out efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards, acting as the liaison between management and operational staff. * Ensure process stability according to established parameters and procedures. **KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** **SAFETY.** * Identify and report unsafe acts or conditions within your work area or within Datwyler Querétaro. * Minimize accident risk within your work area by performing all activities correctly. * Conduct initial investigations of accidents occurring in your work area, as well as mold damage, excessive material usage, and various issues. * Comply with company-established safety rules and procedures. * Responsible for implementing health and safety procedures in compliance with applicable laws and internal labor regulations. * Promote order and cleanliness in production areas. **QUALITY.** * Work in accordance with guidelines, policies, and procedures of the Quality Management System aligned with IATF 16949:2016 requirements. * Initiate corrective or preventive actions, if necessary, for any activity or incident occurring within the facility relevant to the IATF 16949 Quality System. **POSITION-SPECIFIC.** **PRODUCTION SYSTEM.** * + Responsible for meeting the production schedule and delivering finished products on time per the shipping schedule. + Adequately plan human and material resources to increase production efficiency and effectiveness. * + Schedule and plan daily work, establishing sequence and priorities, considering available resources and time. + Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results across all areas. + Manage departmental performance metrics, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to the area manager. + Maintain appropriate inventory levels. + Ensure all orders are executed on time and closed properly in required systems (WMS and IQMS). + Continuously promote improvements and changes in the assigned area. + Lead daily operational meetings. + Follow Datwyler Production System (DPS) guidelines. **TECHNICAL SUPPORT** * + Implement ERP in accordance with group guidelines. + BOM control. + Under direct and indirect supervision, develop manufacturing processes for new products with their specific requirements. + Conduct initial investigations of incidents involving mold damage, excessive material usage, and various issues. + Be directly involved in the implementation, participation, and communication of manufacturing procedures integrated into the molding process. + Participate, when required, in process or equipment improvement projects. + Meet area-specific metrics (KPIs). **PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT** * + Lead and motivate your team of associates. + Delegate authority and responsibility for decision-making, ensuring instructions are clear, specific, concise, and complete, without overlooking the overall skill level of team members. + Manage team versatility by requesting appropriate training for personnel from support areas. + Resolve employee issues through problem-solving. + Monitor personnel incidents. + Comply with the Internal Labor Regulations. **POSITION COMPETENCY PROFILE** Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
