




Ensure the safe, efficient, and regulation-compliant transportation of chemical products from their origin to final destination. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** · **Transport Planning and Execution:** Design safe and efficient routes for chemical product transportation, considering cargo characteristics and environmental conditions; coordinate loading and unloading of chemical products, ensuring these operations are carried out according to established procedures. · **Documentation Management:** Prepare and maintain required documentation for chemical product transportation, including labels, safety data sheets, permits, and other necessary documents; ensure documentation is complete and accurate, complying with local and international regulations. · **Regulatory Compliance and Safety:** Know and apply specific regulations for chemical product transportation, including safety standards, hazardous materials handling, and waste transport; implement safety protocols to prevent accidents, spills, or leaks during transportation; ensure personnel involved in transportation are trained and familiar with safety procedures. · **Coordination with Stakeholders:** Interact with suppliers, customers, carriers, and competent authorities to ensure smooth transportation management; communicate relevant transportation information such as schedules, routes, documents, and special conditions. · **Transport Unit Maintenance and Care:** Perform regular inspections of vehicles and transport equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety; carry out necessary preventive and corrective maintenance to guarantee vehicle operability. · **Emergency Management:** Be prepared to respond to emergencies related to chemical product transportation, such as spills, leaks, or accidents; know emergency procedures and have necessary equipment available to handle these situations. · **Supply Chain Optimization:** Seek ways to optimize the supply chain to reduce costs and improve transportation efficiency; use technology and management systems to monitor and control chemical product transportation. · **Risk Management:** Identify and evaluate risks associated with chemical product transportation; implement measures to mitigate risks and protect the safety of people and the environment. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** **1\.\- SPECIFIC EDUCATION:** Primary, Secondary, and/or Technical High School. **2\.\- GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:** · **Logistics and transportation:** Route planning, load and unload management, coordination with suppliers and clients, and transportation cost optimization. · **Safety and emergency protocols:** Knowing how to act in case of accidents, leaks, or spills, including activation of emergency protocols, use of protective equipment, and communication with competent authorities. · **Documentation and record keeping:** Handling required documentation for dangerous goods transportation, such as waybills, cargo manifests, and product safety data sheets. · **Vehicle maintenance and inspection:** Ensuring the vehicle meets technical requirements for dangerous goods transportation, and performing periodic inspections to guarantee its good condition. **3\.\- SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:** Identification of hazardous materials, correct use of personal protective equipment, handling emergency situations, staying updated on laws and regulations specific to chemical product transportation in each region, including labeling, packaging, and documentation requirements, knowledge of transported chemicals' properties, ensuring appropriate packaging, and applying safe handling techniques to prevent spills, leaks, or dangerous reactions, familiarity with ISO9001:2015 and hazardous chemical materials handling.
