Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. is seeking someone who is responsible for meeting company standards in quality, safety, security, accuracy and productivity of the warehouse in Mexico (receiving, manufacturing, or shipping). A certain degree of creativity and initiative is required. Position Duties and Responsibilities: Logistics Activities * Pick and pack orders for shipment and manufacturing as needed. Check and verify orders for shipping and manufacturing. * Move products to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate locations according to storage specifications. * Perform cycle counts. Material Handling Activities * Operate materials handling equipment * Move product, either receipt, pick or, pack via hand held bar code scanner. * Check or count freight for accuracy and damage. * On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift equipment. * Dock duties: Loading and unloading freight Support Activities * Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety. * Perform other job functions as assigned. Supervisory / Management Responsibilities * None Travel Requirements * None Required Skills * High school graduate or equivalent * Minimum of 3 years' experience with order picking * Must have prior experience with an RF Scanner * Must have prior experience operating Cherry Pickers/Order Pickers, sit down and stand up forklifts Beneficial Education, Skills and Experience * Experience with SAP data entry Required Experience * High school graduate or equivalent * Minimum of 5 years experience with order picking * Must have prior experience with an RF Scanner * Must have prior experience operating Cherry Pickers/Order Pickers, sit down and stand up forklifts
