Develops and maintains project-specific construction practices. Controls and coordinates construction activities to ensure assigned projects are delivered to customer satisfaction and in accordance with safety, quality, schedule, and budget parameters. **Key Responsibilities:** * The supervisor’s primary role is to support and guide contractors and project personnel on quality matters to achieve efficient development per engineering documents, specifications, and regulations; safe, on-time, and on-budget project completion. * Work closely with the project management team to ensure project construction work complies with design, specifications, and regulations. * Specific responsibilities: * The civil supervisor reports directly to the Construction Manager and works closely with all project team disciplines, particularly civil discipline. * Manage and coordinate construction discrepancies with contractors to meet the schedule and deliverables of all construction tasks executed within the agreed scope of work and specifications. * Field construction inspection experience. Knowledge of local standards NOM, ASEA, and recognized international standards (API, ASME, AWS, NACE, ASNT, ACI) for civil works. * Manage and coordinate civil discipline activities: excavations, backfilling, reinforcement steel, formwork, and concrete. * Assist in identifying and quantifying variations in scope of work. * Inspect and receive materials supplied by the client and report on their usage. * Work closely with the project team and contractors to ensure work completion in accordance with required design, specifications, and regulations. * Assist in managing interfaces between contractors to minimize project schedule delays. * Ensure contractor compliance with HSE policies and procedures. * Strong problem-solving skills to support project progress, analyze and evaluate engineering discrepancies, and implement appropriate solutions. **What You’ll Bring?** **Software, Processes, and Tools:** * Professional with 5–10 years’ experience in this role. * Outlook * Office * Excel * Language: Spanish; technical English reading proficiency. * Sector: Oil & Gas * Experience in industrial projects, IPC/IPCM, pipelines and/or compression and metering stations, civil discipline subcontractor management, field inspection of excavations, backfilling, reinforcement steel, formwork, and concrete.
