Handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines JM Tor Par SA de CV WE ARE SEEKING **Procurement Intern** * Age: 18–25 years old * Education: Currently enrolled in the final semesters of a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Years of experience: NA * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am – 14:00 pm; Day(s) off: Saturday, Sunday * Work location: San Juan del Río * Willingness to travel: NO **Physical ability** Normal capacity for lifting minimal weights and moving around **Mental ability** ● Strong communication and teamwork skills. ● Organizational ability and attention to detail. ● Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet established deadlines. ● Basic knowledge of English is desirable. **Responsibilities. Description of activities, functions and/or responsibilities** * Procurement Management Support: * Assist in identifying and selecting suppliers. * Request quotations and conduct comparative analyses of price, quality, and delivery times. * Collaborate in the preparation and tracking of purchase orders. * Documentation Control: * Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all procurement transactions. * Assist in managing and archiving procurement-related documentation, such as contracts, invoices, and receipts. * Collaborate in preparing reports on procurement status and supplier performance. * Internal Coordination: * Support communication and coordination with Production, Logistics, and Quality departments to ensure materials * arrive on time and in the required quantities. * Report any incidents or delivery delays to department supervisors. * Administrative Support: * Perform administrative tasks related to the procurement area, including database updates and correspondence management. * Assist in coordinating returns and claims with suppliers. **Authority of this position** * Development of new suppliers * Authority to approve minimum purchases of MXN 3,000 **PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS / SKILLS** * Adaptability to change and flexibility * Attention to detail * Planning and organizational ability * Compliance with regulations **NOTES** *Monetary support available during the interview* Job type: Internship / training program Salary: $1.00 – $10.00 per month Education: * Incomplete or ongoing Bachelor’s degree (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
