**Position: Indirect Buyer – Plant 2, Querétaro** **Location:** PXI Automotive México – Plant 2, Parque Tecnológico Innovación, El Marqués, Qro. **PXI Automotive** is a Chinese automotive company specialized in manufacturing metal components for thermal exchange systems. We are currently seeking to add a **Direct Materials Buyer** to our team, with experience in non-production procurement management. **Job Objective:** Ensure timely and competitive supply of direct materials for production through strategic negotiation, supplier development, and efficient supply chain management. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure supply of critical materials according to MRP and production plans. * Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms with national and international suppliers. * Develop and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply continuity. * Resolve supply risks, shortages, or line stoppages in coordination with production and logistics. * Analyze costs and execute cost reduction projects (Cost Reduction / VA\-VE). * Manage data in ERP systems and monitor purchasing KPIs. **Executive Requirements:** * Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field. * 3\-5 years of experience in direct materials procurement (preferably in the automotive industry). * Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), cost analysis, and manufacturing processes. * **Advanced English proficiency**. * Key skills: negotiation, supplier management, decision-making, analytical thinking, working under pressure, and results orientation. * Availability for **on-site work at Plant 2**, El Marqués, Qro. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary (based on experience). * Direct hiring and job stability. * Professional development in an international environment.
