Strengthen internal controls and support strategic decision-making **Job Objective:** The Financial Controller will be responsible for **leading the company’s accounting and finance function**, ensuring accurate multi-entity financial consolidation under IFRS and US GAAP standards, local and international tax compliance, audit management, and enhancement of internal controls—supporting strategic decision-making in a rapidly growing environment backed by institutional capital. **Responsibilities:** * Oversee general and consolidated accounting for entities in Mexico, the United States, and the Cayman Islands. * Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance. * Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks and established timelines. * Design, implement, and reinforce accounting, financial, and operational internal controls. * Lead the implementation and optimization of the ERP system (preferably Odoo) from an accounting and reporting perspective. * Develop strategies for accounting efficiency and tax planning. * Manage relationships with accounting, tax, and audit firms. * Report financial information to investors and other key stakeholders. * Lead, train, and scale the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, or related field** * **Minimum 6 years of experience in finance roles** * Knowledge of **IFRS and US GAAP** * Prior experience with **Big Four firms (desirable)** * Experience managing **international structures** and financial consolidation * Experience in **external audit, regulatory reporting, and consolidated financial statements** * **Intermediate English proficiency.** * Advanced Excel skills * ERP experience (preferably Odoo) **Desirable / Plus Experience:** * Familiarity with the hospitality sector. * CPA, ACCA, or IFRS certifications. **Benefits** **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm **Work Modality:** Full-time, Hybrid, On-site **Salary:** $65,000 to $80,000 MXN gross monthly **Statutory Benefits:** 70% base IMSS contribution and 30% via other benefits such as savings fund **About the Company** A new paradigm in hospitality.
