Job Summary: Design, develop, and evolve integrations between the credit core and satellite systems, implementing APIs, ESB, event-driven flows, and batch processes—ensuring technical quality, operational stability, and performance. DESCRIPTION **Area:** IT – Integration / Middleware (Credit Core and Satellites) **Location:** CDMX (POLANCO) ### **Job Objective** Design, develop, and evolve integrations between the **credit core** and satellite systems, implementing **APIs, ESB, event-driven flows, and batch processes**, ensuring technical quality, operational stability, and performance. This role enables reliable, observable, and secure releases, and contributes to the continuity and scalability of the platform across production and non-production environments. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Implement and maintain integrations (**APIs / event queues / batch**) between core and satellites. * Configure and manage flows in the **integration orchestrator** and **API Gateway** (routing, policies, versioning). * Develop and deploy services on container platforms (**OpenShift/Kubernetes**), including progressive migration of integrations to containers. * Execute and automate **contract, integration, and regression testing** (validation pipelines). * Monitor operational health of integrations (latency, availability, errors) and resolve incidents using root-cause analysis. * Maintain technical documentation: API contracts, mappings, transformations, and **service catalog**. * Manage endpoint versioning and validate compatibility (backward compatibility) in releases. * Support daily operations: tracking of batch processes, reconciliations, and validation of data loads. * Coordinate technical changes with Architecture, Data, Operations, and Business teams, adhering to change windows. REQUIREMENTS ### **Mandatory** * **2+ years** of experience implementing/supporting integrations in transactional environments (banking/finance preferred). * Experience with **API Gateway / ESB** and execution of batch flows. * Practical expertise in **REST/JSON** and **SOAP/XML**. * Reading/using **OpenAPI** specifications (and preferably AsyncAPI). * Understanding of integration security: **OAuth2/OIDC** and **mTLS** (at a practical level). * Experience in observability: **logs / metrics / traces**, diagnosing production incidents. * Coordination of changes across multiple teams (real-world operation within change windows). ### **Key Tools and Technologies (Highly Important)** * **MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform)** (or equivalent integration platform). * **OpenShift / Kubernetes** (deployment and operations). * Messaging/events: **Kafka / RabbitMQ** (or equivalents). * Testing: **Postman / ReadyAPI** (and preferably contract test automation). * Observability: **Grafana / ELK / Prometheus** (or equivalents). * CI/CD and version control: **Git + Jenkins/GitHub Actions** (or equivalents). * ITSM/tracking: **ServiceNow / Jira** (preferred). * Fundamentals of **PCI/ISO 27001** applied to integrations (preferred).
