This role actively participates in the **migration to the new core (Prime/TSYS)**, generating queries, scripts, batch/ETL processes, and validations that enable daily operations and business decision-making. ### **Main Responsibilities** * Develop and execute **queries, scripts, and procedures** against the core database (extraction, cleansing, validation). * Support **batch processes** and data flows between systems (flat files, scheduled loads, reconciliations). * Participate in the **new core migration project**: mappings, validations, reconciliations, test support, and comparative analysis. * Prepare **reports and data analyses** for portfolio (balances, transactions, fees, catalogs) to support operations and business needs. * Document **data models**, procedures, information flows, and evidence (audit-ready traceability). * Cleanse and maintain **catalogs/parameters** (quality, consistency, change control). * Address production data incidents and coordinate corrections with IT Operations / Middleware / Business teams. * Validate and reconcile information with internal/external systems, identifying discrepancies and root causes. * Optimize queries and procedures to improve performance (basic tuning). REQUIREMENTS ### **Mandatory** * **2+ years** of experience in database development and/or administration within transactional environments (financial/credit preferred). * Advanced **SQL** (complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, optimization). * Experience with **batch processes**, generation/consumption of **flat files** (CSV/XML/JSON), and **ETL/ELT** data flows. * Ability to read and interpret **relational data models**, including handling referential integrity. * Familiarity with typical credit core data structures (accounts, lines, products, catalogs) is desirable. * Collaborative work with **middleware, operations, and business teams** (tracking, evidence, resolution). ### **Key Tools and Knowledge (Highly Important)** * Database engines: **SQL Server / Oracle / PostgreSQL** (at least one at an advanced level). * ETL/ELT: **SSIS / Informatica / Talend** (or equivalents). * Scripting/Analytics (desirable): **Python or R** for validations and analysis. * BI (desirable): **Power BI / Tableau** for consumption/validation. * Version control: **Git**. * Basic understanding of **REST/SOAP APIs** (to comprehend integrations with platforms such as MuleSoft). * Good practices in data quality and foundational knowledge of security/compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS as reference).
