Location: (Mexico City and Sinaloa)
Salary: $53,900 – $67,000 monthly; benefits exceeding statutory requirements

Job Objective
Develop analytical models and data-driven solutions leveraging geospatial data to support strategic decisions regarding retail expansion, store location, and physical store performance.
Key Responsibilities
Build predictive models for store opening, closing, and performance.
Design optimization algorithms incorporating geospatial variables (mobility, catchment areas, consumer behavior).
Analyze local demand to define product mix and inventory levels.
Evaluate store performance using multivariate analysis (location, competition, socioeconomic profile, seasonality).
Develop simulations and scenarios for new locations.
Collaborate with Real Estate, expansion, commercial, and supply chain teams.
Communicate findings through dashboards and clear visualizations.
Stay current with trends in geointelligence and retail analytics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Engineering, Geography, or related field.
\+5 years of applied data science experience in retail, real estate, or expansion.
Experience with location modeling, simulation, and geospatial analysis.
Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency.
Technical Skills
Python (mandatory) and advanced SQL.
Libraries: pandas, geopandas, scikit-learn, PySAL, folium.
GIS Tools: QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Maps API, or similar.
Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, or libraries such as Plotly/Seaborn.
Handling of demographic, census, and mobility data.
