Join us in advancing our mission to extend lives and expand possibilities. **Primary Job Objective:** Implement corporate and local regulatory guidelines related to occupational health, safety, and environment, and ensure compliance with current Mexican regulations. **Key Activities and Responsibilities:** * Identify EHS compliance and legal risks for Vantive in the country/cluster. * Ensure compliance with the Safety and Environment Management System, primarily. * Support closure of findings arising from government agency visits, internal audits, or global audits. * Support compliance with STPS, SEMARNAT, and CIVIL PROTECTION regulations. * Maintain updated EHS indicators for operations, TIER 2, and Benchmark. * Train and document EHS-related topics for contractor personnel, new hires, and conduct specific and periodic trainings. * Identify unsafe conditions and/or unsafe acts in operations through daily walkthroughs. * Inspect and document emergency response equipment, maintenance management, or changes to such equipment. * Identify and assess hazards and risks, applying the hierarchy of controls. * Coordinate and manage inventory and procurement of PPE, as well as specific trainings for macrocenter and remote site operations. * Ensure EHS compliance for employees, contractors, and visitors through walkthroughs. * Participate in implementing EHS measures during crisis situations to maintain business continuity. * Manage municipal solid waste, special handling waste, and hazardous waste. * Actively participate in emergency brigades and drills. * Provide EHS support to remote warehouses, including EHS tips, training for contractors and new hires, specific and periodic trainings, and management of EHS system records. * Ensure achievement of HAZARD ID targets and ATS closure in accordance with the global safety platform at the macrocenter. * Conduct GEMBA walks with a safety focus. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 1 year managing Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Programs; knowledge of Clean Industry and Safe Industry programs. **Knowledge:** * Mexican legislation on Safety, Health, and Environment; STPS regulations. * Basic computer skills. **Reasonable Accommodation** Vantive is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities globally.
