




Job Summary: We are seeking a Java Developer/Support professional to design, develop, maintain, and optimize applications, provide L2/L3 support, and ensure quality and security. Horizonte Capital Empresarial, a Mexican company specializing in Human Resources and Information Technologies, is looking for: Java Developer / Support Conversational English required Hybrid work arrangement (2 days remote / 3 days onsite) Work location: Querétaro, CDMX, Guadalajara, or Monterrey Requirements * 5+ years of experience in Java application development and support. * Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC). * Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and microservices architectures. * Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL. * Familiarity with application servers: Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic. * Practical experience with version control systems (Git). * Strong debugging, analysis, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities. Main Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain Java applications following industry best practices and quality standards. * Provide L2/L3 support for Java-based systems, including incident analysis, problem resolution, and root cause analysis (RCA). * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless deployments, integrations, and updates. * Optimize application performance, stability, and scalability. * Implement bug fixes, patches, and enhancements in production and pre-production environments. * Maintain up-to-date technical documentation: code, processes, manuals, and troubleshooting guides. * Ensure compliance with security standards, coding guidelines, and internal policies.
