**Required Profile** * **Position:** "Highway Assistance Driver" * **Company:** Grupo Autopistas Nacionales S.A * **Education:** High School Diploma * **Experience:** 1 year in general basic mechanics and 2 years in manual transmission vehicle driving. * **Essential Knowledge \& Skills:** Results-oriented work, general basic mechanics for diesel and gasoline engines. Knowledge of defensive driving techniques. Ability to handle traffic signaling and roadwork flagging on the roadway surface. * **Work Location:** Amozoc Toll Booth * **Work Schedule:** In-person \& availability for shift rotations (6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm \& 10pm to 6am). * **Mandatory Requirement:** Valid Class "B" driver's license or private driver's license. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Provide assistance to users when any type of traffic incident occurs, ensuring their safety and maintaining smooth vehicle flow on the highway. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.** * Report any situation to the Control Center and Highway Assistance Supervisor (such as traffic, accidents, and assistance requests) that may hinder free circulation during highway patrols. * Request emergency services (such as ambulance, tow truck, public security, traffic police, civil protection, and/or fire department) through the Control Center and Highway Assistance Supervisor. * Conduct patrols to confirm that the roadway is clear and free of incidents or accidents. * Perform inventory checks of Highway Assistance Units to verify they are equipped with necessary tools, materials, and equipment for efficient roadside assistance, as well as inspect the physical and mechanical condition of the units. * Provide assistance to users traveling on the highway in the following cases: Roadside Assistance, Accidents, Damage Claims, Service Information. * Request from the Highway Assistance Supervisor any tools, materials, and services required by the units. Record daily fuel refills, ensuring all units are fully fueled. * Keep units clean and operational; report any anomalies that could prevent unit operation. * Record all roadside assistance incidents occurring during the shift using established forms. * Record corresponding accident reports using established formats and follow up on damage payment and/or recovery procedures. * Log all activities performed during the shift in the unit's logbook. * Ensure compliance with and follow-up on quality, road safety, occupational safety, and environmental policies and procedures. * Participate in internal and external quality, road safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental audits, and implement corrective actions (when applicable). **COMPETENCIES** Teamwork, customer service orientation, communication, adherence to guidelines.
